Annapurna Panorama Trek 8 Days Trek

Awesome starter trek takes you to the best viewpoint of all the Nepal to observe  the great Himalayan mountain range. Fitness required on this  trek is moderate and it is considered as one of the least demanding treks of Nepal. Altitude sickness risk is very low, with the highest point of the trek at 3210m. This tour is perfect for inexperienced  trekkers, or for those short of time for more challenging Himalaya experience.

Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu

Our team will meet you at Kathmandu airport and transfer to your hotel. Later you will attend a pre-trek meeting with your tour guide.

Day 2: Fly to Pokhara – Drive to Nayapul – Trek to Tikhedhunga

  • Elevation: 1300m – 1079m – 1540m
  • Flight time: 25 mins
  • Drive time: 1-2 hrs
  • Trek time: 3-4 hrs

By catching morning flight to Pokhara, you will have exciting views of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchchhre, the five peaks of Annapurna. After landing, we drive to Nayapul where the trek starts. By following the river and crossing the Modi Khola on a suspension bridge, we reach the village of Tikhedhunga.

Day 3: Trek to Ghorepani

  • Elevation: 1540m – 2780m
  • Time: 6-7 hrs

Departing Thikedhungga by crossing small suspension bridge, across the deep gorge, we ascent up to Ulleri. There are steps all the way, making this difficult climb easier. By passing Ulleri and nearby forect,  we continue to climb up, and down a bit, enjoying the views of Machhapuchchhre. Finally we reach the village of Ghorepani and indulge ourselves  with amazing views of Dhaulagiri and the Annapurna range.

Day 4: Ascend Poon Hill, Trek to Tadapani

  • Elevation: 2780m – 3200m – 2630m
  • Time: 7-8 hrs

Today’s trek starts with very early morning ascend to Poon Hill, again enjoying spectacular views of Machhapuchchhre, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and the Annapurnas at dawn. Shortly after we begin descend to Tadapani through rhododendron forests and once again splendid views of the high mountains and green valleys.

Day 5: Trek to Landruk

  • Elevation: 2630m – 1565m
  • Time: 5-6 hrs

We continue our descend through village of Ghandruk, famous for high population of Ghurkhas who now own many of the lodges in this area. By following  the path down to Landruk we once again enjoy the breath-taking views of the Annapurna range.

Day 6: Trek to Dhampus

  • Elevation: 1565m – 1750m
  • Time: 5-6 hrs

Today we follow the path to village of Dhampus at an altitude of 1750m, where you will spend your last night of the trek before leaving Annapurna Conservation Area.

Day 7: Trek to Phedi – Drive to Pokhara – Fly to Kathmandu

  • Elevation 1750m – 1079m – 1300m
  • Trek time: 3 hrs
  • Drive time: 1 hr
  • Flight time: 25 mins

The  final trek includes 500m of descent into Phedi, before driving back to Pokhara and flight back to Kathmandu.

Day 8: Depart Kathmandu

We will collect you from the hotel and transfer to Kathmandu Airport for your departing flight.
